Ferrari 360 Spider

The Ferrari 360 Spider was designed to replace the Ferrari 355. There were a total of three variations of the Ferrari 360 made, these were:

  • Ferrari Modern
  • Ferrari Spider
  • Ferrari Challenge Straddle

Each of these cars were different, for example the Ferrari 360 Modern has a 3.6 L V8 engine, this generates  over 400 bhp and can get from 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds, which is amazing considering the performance parts on the car. The Ferrari 360 has had some criticism regarding the handling of the car is twitchy when pushing it. An example of this would be when ex Burnley football player Ian Wright crash a 360 due a downshift whilst traveling up a road.

The 360 spider was Ferrari twentieth convertible, it is very similiar to theferrari 360 Modena, other than the weight difference, which is due to the roof being removed.  The 360 spider is popular within movies as a 'flash' car, for example it was featured in Charlies Angles

The Ferrari Challenger Stradale is similar to the other two models except that all the unnecessary features have been removed from the car to help reduce weight. Alos the Challenger Stradale has an improved 3.6 liter V8 engine, improved brakes and suspension and also larger wheels to help with high speeds. The Challger was the last of the 360 series to be released, it was released in mid 2003.
