Ferrari 430

The Ferrari 430 was designed to surpass the Ferrari 360,  it was released within 2004. However due to a right  hand version was not released until 2005, this did have an impact on the sales. First, the body of the 430 has re-designed to be more aerodynamic .

A 4.3 liter V8 engine has been inserted into the 430, the engine is a hybrid, consisting of Ferrari and Assert. The engine can produce 484 bhp and a amazing 8500  rpm and 343 pounds of torque at 5250 rpm. The brakes for the 430  were at joint effort, a company called Brembo helped to developer the breaks. The break discs were made of cast iron, this helped to reduce the build up of more heat. Ferrari also provided a ceramic brake disc option, this is an advantage as this would help increase the life span of the brakes and reduce heat.

The 430 has some similar body work of an Enzo and 360,  using an F1 style shiftferrari 430 box which makes the car responsive and sharp. Also if you choose to have the ceramic brakes fitted at an additional cost, you will have a vast amount of stopping power and ceramic brakes also have a longer life span therefore serving costs will be reduced.

Some of the disadvantages are that the 420 uses a good amount of fuel  at an average of 15 mph, also due to the front end being low, it is very easy to damage on speed bumps. Also the car has to be serviced every 6000 miles, but it does ensure your Ferrari is in the best condition, which is obviously important. The 430 comes with many useful extras,  such as electric sunroof, leather seats, side airbag, climate control at more. Overall the car does retain some of the excellent qualities of the Modena, but the 430 looks better and also handles like a Ferrari should do.
