Ferrari 599 GTB

The Ferrari 599 is a two seat Grand Turismo model, the Ferrari 599 was designed to exceed and replace the Ferrari 575M. The bodywork of the 599 resembles that of a 612 Scaglietti, however the 599 has more curves on the front body panel, which makes the 599 look even more beautiful.

Under the hood, the Ferrari has a 6 liter V12 engine, which can generate 620 bhp to 640 bhp. Also the V12 can be revved to 8400 rpm.  The 599 comes within a six speed manual gearbox, however the sequential gearbox can also be requested which is named F1 SuperFast.  The 599 was made available in 2007, also the 599 came with an ipod connection, which is the first Ferrari to do this.

The 599 also includes Ferrari's new traction control system, which is named F1-ferrari 599 Trac. Apparently Michael Schumacher help to tune it, and Ferrari say that a driver could race around a track and just be 1 second behind Schumacher's time.

The Ferrari 599 was crowned as car of the year from Evo Magazines, which is a great achievement considering the other cars which were out there such as the new Lamborghini.  Also the popular television program Top Gear  knighted the car as Supercar of the year.
