Ferrari Racing

As mentioned previously, Mr Enzo Ferrari's true love, was automotive racing. First Enzo applied for a job at FIAT, which now own around 75% of Ferrari, however he was rejected, after making friends with several FIAT workers, he managed to get a job their as a handyman. His job entailed preparing old war vehicles and then selling them. Eventually through a friend, Enzo managed to find a job with a CMN car company. Enzo then raced on the companies cars, which allowed him to race in a Italian road race. 

Enzo got sponsored for driving many cars, however after several races, he signed up to race for Alpha Romeo, he managed to persuade his friend Sirocco who was currently driving for FIAT to join Alpha Romeo . However Ferrari eventually left Alpha Romeo to start his own business which included designing and producing cars. After the company Ferrari became more established, they entered for Grand Prix around the time after World War 2. Within 1949, an Italian racing driver named Lug Chinetti won the Grand Prix, resulting in a victory for Ferrari.

After winning the Grand Prix, An American dealership agreed to become a dealer for Ferraris. This was an advantage as the most wealthiest people lived in the US at the time, which helped Ferrari sell many cars. Scuderia joined the Formula One Championship went it was first founded in 1950, a driver named Jose Froilan Gozalez help the team with its first victory in 1951 which was at the British Grand Prix.
